BE WILLING TO HAVE RUPTURES

I learned that even if we try our best, we have off days too and can lose our cool or interpret things wrong or place meaning on things that aren’t there and that is ok…as long as we are willing to repair it. If we get upset at others but are not willing to repair it, then a further rift and mistrust will form. But if we’re willing to have ruptures and then have crucial courageous conversations and repair these ruptures, then actually it will create more intimacy and more depth and more trust. All it takes is a deep breath and to have forgiveness in our hearts. Sometimes I need a few days to recalibrate after I get misinterpreted or after an upset and then I am always ready to have the crucial conversation. I think it also has to start with respect and safety and then hearts can open up more.
