My last video got cut off so I reshot it :-)
The start of the women’s movement and having the right to vote started almost 200 years ago. It took nearly 100 years for white women to get the right to vote in 1920 and another 55 years for women of color, native Americans, Asian Americans like me and various ethnic women to fully have the right to vote (amendment passed in 1975).
Our vote is our voice. We fought hard for it. It’s our right to be part of the conversation so may we exercise this right today at the polling stations.
